Masterclasses by Áron Gauder and László Csáki at the 2nd SKICC Film Days

The 2nd edition of SKICC – Film Days will feature exclusive masterclasses by renowned Hungarian directors Áron Gauder and László Csáki. Hosted at the Medgyessy Ferenc Secondary School of Fine Arts and Technical School in Debrecen, the event is organized by the school's educators—who are also the founders of SKICC—with the aim of sparking interest in animated filmmaking.

As part of the school’s post-secondary vocational training program, students can specialize in motion picture and animation design. The SKICC Film Days highlight two key masterclasses:

Áron Gauder, the director of Four Souls of Coyote, will spoke about his work as a screenwriter, production designer, and animation director. He will be presenting a similar masterclass later this year at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which celebrates Hungarian animation in 2025. Following the talk, Four Souls of Coyote will be screened.

László Csáki, director, cinematographer, and screenwriter, offered insights into the creative process and behind-the-scenes world of filmmaking. His session was followed by a screening of Pelikan Blue, which was animated by Cinemon Entertainment.
