The Hungarian film industry has had a busy and inspiring few weeks — and we are happy to be part of these important moments.
Last Friday, at the Filmreform 2026 event organized within the framework of Euro Cine the white paper proposal package for Hungary’s new film financing system was presented.
The initiative brought together 46 film organizations and higher education institutions. The proposal was presented, among others, by our studio head, Temple Réka, representing the Hungarian Animation Producers Association.
Cinemon Entertainment was also present at the major Eurocine event at the stand of the Hungarian Animation Producers Association, where marketing manager Dia Berényi welcomed visitors together with many important and beloved members of the animation community.
On the Day of Hungarian Film, outstanding creators of the Hungarian film industry were honored on the initiative of 10 leading professional film organizations. The animation field was represented by MAPSZ and AA1, and amongst many talents three animation creators received awards: department head Melinda Kiss, as well as directors Réka Bucsi and Áron Gauder.
Áron could not attend the ceremony in person, as he was serving on the jury for feature films at the Anifilm Festival in Liberec.
Thank you to everyone working to make the future of Hungarian cinema even stronger!
